Researchers have made the case for a redesign of education spending and teacher compensation. Researchers have claimed that states are not providing enough resources to schools—but even when they are, districts are not always allocating the resources in a way that best serves the teaching profession. The research paper should show a balanced approach showing both sides of the issue, exploring pros and cons, as well as the effectiveness and risk of redesigning teacher compensation. Further, there should be a description on how a school leader would implement this policy in a school district. How would a school leader educate a defined subgroup of stakeholders to include parents, teachers, students on the policy itself to aid in the implementation in the school district. Overall, this paper should focus on strategies to redesign the current teacher compensation system and explore ways in which the teaching profession can receive training and compensation similar to other professionals in business, medical residents, etc.
